Is this normal?

I do have some boot problems which I'll probably make a post for another time but once my computer is started properly it works great.

Just one thing that's kind of annoying is whenever I tab out of or close a full-screen game the screen goes black for a few seconds and a blue box pops up saying "no signal detected" then it gets to the desktop like it should.

I also get this when I log into my account on windows xp. It goes to the desktop and after about 5 seconds I get it.

Here's my monitor.

Yeah it probably should do that. When switching between things it happens for me, but it's just a black screen. For you since the monitor is detecting "nothing" because the CPU is busy sending everything off to the video card to be drawn on your monitor. It's also normal for that to happen during log-in. I know computers that do that.

So that's nothing to worry about, enjoy your computer!
