1 - Unless I see a good reason to do otherwise, I'm going for a P1.6A. It seems like they get 2.4GHz pretty easily, so I can't see spending an extra $100 to go 10-20% higher. I'm assuming I can replace my chip with one down the road that'll do 3+GHz, so I'll spend the money I save up front on an upgrade.

2 - (Bozo) You are right on about divider options. I don't want to run the PCI bus more than 10-15% out of spec, so this will be important. Then again, I am seeing more boards with a PCI lock feature, so I am expecting (hoping?) to get a board with this feature. It will be important down the road when I swap the CPU and have to change my fsb.

3 - Bringing me to this point -- I don't see a board yet that meets all my needs. Did I hear that Abit is not releasing an 850E board? I don't mind waiting another month if I have to -- I think the market is going to get even more competitive -- but once UT2003 hits the streets, I'm going to need a new system fast! 😀

Anyway, I was hoping to go 850E -- mainly because I believe the plls will go higher -- but if something good doesn't show up I might have to take another look at the original 850 boards.
