hi:
I just installed a new epox ep-9npa+ Ultra mobo into my existing case. I had absolutely no problems. This mobo works flawlessly. I am not an overclocker so this may not be a big deal. But I'm reading about so many problems with the DFI's and MSI's and even the Asus's.
I have 1 gig of crucial (2x512), AMD64 3500+ retail 90nM, sapphire radeon x300, two 80 gig SATA II Hitachi and 2 IDE hard drives, a dvd recorder and 5 USB devices hooked up. Absolutely no hiccups with anything.
I did try to set up an array (first 0 then 1) and have ghost 9 try and get all my data onto the array. Tried for 3 days and no success. I guess its just not possible for software to do that. So I setup up 1 of the 80 gigs as my C/D drives and ghosted my old IDE drive to it from my old EPOX mobo (had to run sysprep first ofcourse to recognize the new mobo).
Everything working excellent. system and cpu temps are about 32 degrees.
