No print selection? ARGH!

I've been running SL almost exclusively for a few months now. I like it better than Win 7 for just about everything, but one pet peeve I have with it is no !@#$%^& print selection option when I want to print something from a page. I googled this and it seems I'm not alone. I saw a few suggestions for work arounds, but what is the best way to print selected shit from a web page? And why the hell hasn't Apple fixed this yet? This cannot possibly be a oversight on their part, it's like not being able to full screen a window without a 3rd party app.
 
Yeah my printer can do alot more in windows. Though i dont have to print like i used too so its ok for me.
