Hope you weren't getting your hopes up about the Prince of Persia DLC, PC owners. Because it looks like you're being left out of the party.

The Big Download is reporting that the downloadable expansion pack due February 26 will be exclusive to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The expansion pack, titled "Epilogue," will continue the PoP story with a new area, enemies and fight moves.

But according to a Ubisoft community manager on the official message boards, "Unfortunately for business reasons we won't be seeing any PoP DLC appear. Sorry guys!"

And here we thought Ubisoft liked money. Sadness.

Pretty lame, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

it is also an easy "business reason" decision for me to just skip the game entirely

It was an extremely repetitive and boring game anyway. I made it through a few hours and then shelved it, so i'd have no reason to want DLC. I really only bought the game in the first place because it didn't contain any DRM.

Let the console kiddes pay $10 for more drudgery, that's fine by me.

The new Prince of Persia has ZERO DRM :p

It's not that good a game anyways, it lacks the charm of the other games and it's way too easy, the art style is really not my cup of tea (though some will love it) and the prince has got to be one of the poorest designs I've seen for a game character, not to mention he is completely antipathetic.

Bull, the new Prince was excellent, specifically because it's not that challenging and because of the storybook art.

Please don't tell me you were one of those folks that liked Warrior Within last go round?
