I really wanted to get the PS3 at first, but the more news I hear about it, the more I would rather get the Xbox 360.

wow, that actually would lead me to not buying a ps3. what happens when yer console dies. bam, there goes all of yer games. and dont plan on bringing a game to a friends house. and dont bother renting games.


I dont see it happening.

xbox360 won't be backwards compatible with many of the xbox titles.
The big titles will be supported, but most won't.
Some xbox live dork told me that.

Yeah, I don't see Blockbuster being very happy about this.

actually most xbox games will work and the rest will have some bugs

If this was legit, I would not get the PS3, no matter how good it is. Besides what are they going to do for the rental business like Blockbuster or Gamefly?

Even Sony are not this stupid. I think it's a Microsoft inspired hoax to encourage XBox sales to people who would have waited for a PS3.

While the PS3 hasn't been expressly mentioned in the patent in English or Japanese it would be the obvious place to employ this new technology, regardless of how little gamers will appreciate it.

this article could have applied to any next generation console. Why is theInquirer using this issue to expressly mention/attack the ps3?
