mabye in your area <shrug>

I have noticed it to be completley hit and miss in areas built up 1950-1990

my phone.power and water are all underground now but they seem to want to hang cable from a pole. when I brought comcast out once for an estimate he said something like $3,500.00
Once I stopped laughing, I wished him a nice day🙂

underground???? is that an east coast thing?

Underground provides less sound issues and most of the new lines are ran that way.

WI isn't excatly east coast. 😛

AEP does it all the time for people around here, so it can't be too expensive. You might also want to check with a company that sells mobile homes. They have people who do it for a fee for their customers.

my phone/cable/power all comes from hanging cables. I know all the new construction in my town is underground, but mine is hanging. I wish they would've put it underground this last year when the roads were torn up.

btw, just for comparison. if any of you have had your city/town tear up the old road and rebuild it, how much did it cost you?
