I've used the 503+ which has a similar implementation of the Apollo MVP3 chipset. I can't see the details that well in the photo but it appears to have all the charts silkscreened on it, so here's a list of things that need to be set in order to make the board work. there is a jumper to select between ATX and AT power supplies make sure it's on ATX(just look for the chart on the board that has the 2 settings) There should also be a "CPU to SDRAM data transacting mode selection" jumper, it should be set to default or the option which includes AMD CPUs(remember, just keep looking for the applicable chart on the board for each setting) There should be DIMM frequency and system frequency jumpers so make sure they are configured for the 72 pin EDO 60ns ram your using(the choice for it may say non PC100 settings) make sure that for the system you pick the FSB of your CPU, the K6-2 400 is 100mhz. There should be CPU external frequency jumpers, set them by using the appropiate chart. The multiplier jumpers will probably be designated as something like CPU to Bus frequency Ratio( should be set to 4x) There should be CPU voltage jumpers which will allow you choose your CPU's core voltage, it should be 2.2v but 2.4v will work as well. It sure does sound like based on the fact that the board gets power that you just need to set all the jumpers properly to get it to post. However, I'm just making an educated guess based on what expierence I've had with that chipset and the hybrid power connectors and ram modules supported by that type of board. I do suggest carefully setting and checking all of them and going from there, Let me know how your getting on.

Bump (inbetween class style)... DAPUNISHER, glad to see there's someone who remembers their AT board. Okay, I started looking at the board again after I saw your post and I'm not seeing a jumper distinguishing between the AT and ATX power supply connectors. If there is, I'm just stupid and missing it or it's in a different spot that I'm not expecting it. I know I've got the core voltage (2.2v) and the multiplier (4.0x) set right, but I'm not sure about the CPU and DRAM settings and there's not an I/O voltage setting (so I'm hoping that it's auto detected). It lists 2 settings for a 100 MHz FSB, both 100 CPU (marked on the board JCKx)/DRAM (JAGPx) 66 and 100 CPU/100 DRAM. Looking over the board, the only jumper settings there really are the CPU/DRAM, CPU core voltage, FSB multiplier, and the BIOS clear. Hope this could be enough for you to help me out here.

The board is getting power so the ATX/AT jumper not being there isn't an issue. Your probably right that the I/O voltage is 3.3v or auto detected, so on to the others. I can't say exactly how to set-up the rest of the jumpers without being able to see the charts on the board but I can tell you the right guideline to follow which is to set the ram to run at AGP speed which is 66mhz and set the CPU for 100mhz FSB. From what you wrote it should be configured using the JCKx)/DRAM (JAGPx) 66 option because the other 100 CPU/100 DRAM is for PC100SDRAM and 72pin SIMMs run at 66mhz. If you want to take the time to list a detailed desciption of each chart on the board we can determine the exact settings needed(you'll probably figure it out without going this far). Also, clearing the CMOS is a good idea if you haven't already done so.

Alright, I'll give that a try and see what happens. If you want, I can take pictures of the motherboard where the jumper settings are and the jumpers. I'll keep you posted.

Alright, I tried the 100 Mhz CPU and 66 MHz DRAM settings on the mobo. Nothing... I'm seriously starting to wonder if it's the video card. I'm going to my friend's house tomorrow to either get the old ISA from his computer or I'm skanking my old Voodoo Rush from him.
