Well, this Problem happened about 3 months ago, i was trying to find my thread but couldnt
Anyways, my computer has been fine for days 3 months with no glitches, but recently i was playing Deus Ex and all of a sudden the screen goes blank so i hit the reset button and nothing power button, nothing so i flick the switch on my PSU and flick it again and nothing, the CPU fan powers up and nothing starts, the CD Drive does not open the HD does not power up, i had this problem with my Other PSU but i bought a new one a 350 watter, ive tried Reseating the CPU, Changing the CPU, reseating the RAM
Here are my Specs:
MSI K7T Pro
Athlon Thunderbird 1GHZ
128MB RAM
IBM + Maxtor HD's
Enermax 350 Watt
Ive tried everything but changing the MB
Please help me!
EDIT: Also on my MSI they have these D-LED on them which hangs at all red which points to Processor might be damaged or not installed proprly but i know it is not because i hav changed it. Or lithium battery might be damaged or leaking but ive checked for damage and leakage and nothing, i swear it is the PSU but i have changed that
i also have a BIOS version which is lower than the Release version 1.0 mine is. the Versions at MSI's site start at 1.4 or 1.2 i think
Maybe i have power spikes in the sockets at my house but thefuse in the PSU would shield against that no?, that could explain the CD Tray not opening
