Helping a friend with his home built featuring KT7-Turbo 2 Motherboard. The System starts up and after a couple of seconds shuts down. We tried a different CPU, Motherboard and
Graphics Card. Still having the same problem. From here I think they may be a short between Case and MB. We did try his Power Supply on my Computer and it worked fine.
Any suggestions would be appreciated except dumping the old piece of garbage.

First we need you to list the full system specs. But it is sounding like the motherboard is going bad.

Do you get a video signal or anything but fans spinning when it starts? Have you tried his parts (especially video card & RAM) on another system?
