When i turn my PC on from cold it will not POST for about the first 5 Trys. It just sits there and beeps every now and again. I have no idea what the problem is, but after about the 5th try it will boot up. It is very strange and i would like to fix it. I got told it could be the Memory and to turn up the voltage for the MEM by 0.1V so i did this and it still does it.

Any suggestions Welcome.

Thanks in advance

Could be a power supply problem. Of course, it could be other things too. You can always try disconnecting (power and signal) all non-essential things, drop to 1 stick of RAM and see if you can get reliable POST from a cold start. Then add stuff back in and try to pinpoint the problem that way.

I had this kind of annoying problem with my old celeron which I love but hardly ever use. It was the PSU on that machine. - Good luck

Thanks for the input, i thought about the PSU but is the one that came with the Antec Sonata, the 380W Antec one and it is surposed to be a really good PSU - i shall try what you have stated thou.,
