No post or video

I helped a friend put together a system recently and it doesn't post or display anything at all.. The flea light lights up, fans all spin normally, but we can't get any beep codes or LED's to indicate whats going on.. we tried running it with ram taken out of the system just to see if we could get a beep code of some kind, but still got nothing.. tried running it with all the components unplugged.. tried each ram stick in the different slots. Reset cmos and tried reseating all the components.. Basically, we've tried all the usual stuff for a no post situation, but are still stuck with no information on whats causing it.. I've come to the conclusion that the mobo is probably DOA, but my friend wants to exhaust all possibility's before RMAing it.. Any help would be appreciated.. Thanks!

Any spare parts to substitute in?

I would guess the mobo too, but couldn't hurt to confirm the CPU and video card in a known working motherboard. The lack of beep error really makes it seem like the motherboard, but to truly exhaust all options, confirm the other critical components. I have had a bad processor make the motherboard fail to give a beep code, so it is possible.

We've tried another set of working ram in it with the same results.. also tried his video card in another system and it worked fine.. We don't have a way of testing the cpu, but we did notice a small chunk of pins were missing or bent on the motherboard socket, so he is just gonna have to RMA it.. Thanks
