no POST, gigabyte p35dq6

hey guys, i recently was hooking up the USB cable for my printer to the back of my computer when my wrist grazed the PSU cable and loosened it enough to power down the computer, but not enough to pull the cable out of the back of the PSU. Ever since then, my computer will turn on and will fail to post. i was getting a power error (continuous short beeps) the first couple times i restarted but now my mobo tries to start and continuously restarts. i tried resetting the cmos by removing the battery for a minute or so and that didnt work. i have a pc power and cooling silencer 750 and a gigabyte p35dq6 mobo and i have pretty much eliminated the psu as an issue. i have tested another psu and the exact same thing happens. if anybody has any idea as to what could have happened or what i can do to fix this that would be great. any info would be much appreciated. thanks guys
