No post.........black screen

Ok.....i've seen other posts on the forum but they seem to at least be getting some beeps. Here is my story. I was running Prime95 to test system for stability and let it go all night. Woke up the next morning and moved my mouse to wake the pc up. Nothing came on. So after trying, and trying, i just rebooted the pc. Now it was beeping 1 slow beep every few seconds. So tried to figure out what the problem was...swapped memory (still same), swapped processors (still same), swapped vid cards (still same), tried clearing CMOS (still same), removed battery (still same). Took everything out of case to rule out a short (still same). NOW...all of a sudden....the beeps are gone........power comes on.......but nothing. No beeps, no video, nothing. Thought it must be the PSU, swapped that last night....and same thing (nothing).

Anyone think this is a mobo issue? OR processor? I will go out to sisters house tonight to try the processors and rule them out.

Any ideas are appreciated.

Sounds like you swapped out everything but the motherboard, making it sound like a motherboard problem.

could this be a bios corruption problem?

In my limited experience, if everything sounds like it is powering up but you hear no beeps and get a black screen, it's the mobo.
