No POST after Philips Soundcard install

After putting my system together and getting Windows all nicey-nice, I decided to once again install my Philips 5.1 Sonic Edge soundcard because my Realtek '97 chomps.
So, after shutting off my comp, I installed the card, and booted to a black screen with no POST. I tried other PCI slots, but that does not affect anything. I also unplugged other drives to see if it was a power or IRQ conflict, but no dice still. I even cleared the BIOS(most up-to-date version) from my current settings and disabled the onboard sound.
Still, I continue to get the black screen of death.

Any ideas?

Does the card still work? Can you POST in another computer with it?

Maybe it got staticly fried when it was out of the system.

That`s all you can do for now,so test it in a different PC first to confirm if it`s dead or not,if not report back here and we`ll see if we can figure it out ;).

Well, put it in my computer downstairs, and all is well with it.
So, at least I know it's not fried.

I guess I can now deduct its something with the BIOS possibly?

Is it possible that these PCI ports aren't working because of another IRQ assignment?

I have seen some systems that wouldn't boot with certain brands of modems, may just be incompatable.
