After having my computer off for a couple of months and then turning it back on i no longer got any picture. there were no beeps at all during bootup. it hought it was due to having a 2 year old video card so i ordered a new 9800 i put it in and it's still the same issue. I only have one pci-express slots so i can't really test another one out. although maybe a month ago i was able to get picture and then we lost power in the house and i wasn't able to get it back. I also notice when i boot up the cpu fan didn't start up right away, iw ould somtimes need to help it out, i got a new can and the same thing happen. So i'm thinking this could be with the motherboard? I would hope it would not be the psu since it's an ocz gamer 620 watt one. also the motherboard is less than a year old so that would be quite upsetting if i had to get a new one. Thanks.

If you are not connected to at least a surge protector, then chances are, your system is the victim of a power surge when you had that outage. Could be your memory, your CPU, or some other mobo circuit. I suspect it is the memory. When that is gone, there are no beeps or boot images from BIOS.

hmm, so i tried my brothers ultra 550 watt psu. i didn't connect power to everything, nly to video card, hard drive and to the motherboard. it's very strange how this is. everything is very quite, but running. the fans are going extremely slow and of course no picture or beeps
