I've just bought a new computer, with a used Radeon 9500 Pro in it, along with the other following parts:
AMD Athlon XP-M 2600+
Thermaltake Extreme Volcano 12
Abit NF7-S2
2xCorsair Value Select DDR400 256MB.
Anyways, that's all that matters for it to POST. Now, my computer does not have any built in sound making things so it cannot beep error codes.
When I turn on the computer, the fans all work, the Power On LED on the motherboard lights up, and the Radeon 9500's fan also works. The memory is seated in DIMM2 and DIMM3. I've also tried seating only one piece of memory in DIMM1.
Also, I've reseated the graphics card, and the CPU a few times, so it certainly shouldn't be a connection problem. I've tried with the mobo on top of a large bubble wrap to prevent shorting, and it still didn't work. Also, I've checked all the retention brackets.
I'm thinking it's the Graphics Card, any other things I could've missed? Do you think it's the graphics card?
