Economically, illegals and immigrants will be the one key driving force in maintaining the US status as a superpower and not one person in this world is less deserving of a first world lifestyle, whether that be in the US, Canada or elsewhere.

*Zips up flamesuit* :)
So as a Canadian you should be working to move these illegals directly into Canada, so it can become the superpower and finally start pulling it's weight instead of hiding beneath the US.

You line up the jobs and I can help you funnel them right to your hometown.
My hometown has tons of illegals. I live in a farming community where we bring in many people (mostly from Jamaica) and most of them stay here illegally when they are done their work terms. Locals don't mind because the immigrants are hard working and are self sustaining.

I firmly believe Canada can support more labour as there isn't a fixed number of jobs available; if that were true, the US wouldn't have more jobs than Canada. The number of jobs will grow with the population.

Hmm well I find that a little hard to swallow considering the very high bar that must be passed for Canadian citizenship(for US citizens at least), and that the fact that I get the fifth degree everytime I travel there for business. Canadian officials seem absolutely terrified that I'm coming there to steal their jobs. Are these 'illegals' not drawing on your healthcare system?

But more is better, working together we can speed up the process. :p

Other questions?

True, but how is that pertinent to the issue on hand? The problem revolves around people entering this country without permission (action).

I just don't where "no person is illegal" is coming from... it's not as if the group of people refered to as "illegal immigrants" are somehow inherently illegal by definition. It's the act of de facto trespassing the phrase "illegal imigrants" draws from.

If you try so hard you get to the point where you will hinder the enitre immigration system and those who need to come in legally with legit papers and evidence will probably not even be able to enter either.

Nah.... You just have to go after the "legals" who hire them, and then the illegals will have no reason to come to the US.

Funny, I wonder how they would feel if a stanger, someone not entitled to thier home or posessions just happend to walk into thier house on say Thanksgiving and started helpining themselves to some free food, free TV and then decided to take advantage of the free room and board and crashed out on thier couch.

You mean like the Pilgrims in 1621 ?
Speaking of Pilgrims, if you haven't seen this video you should.
A hilarious parody of what the Indians faced when the pilgrims were the "illegals"

That is pretty accurate.

It is just a slogan used to excuse the bad behavior of some people.

It is interesting that they state that "no one is illegal" which means everyone should be able to go where they want, except if you are someone who thinks differently than them, in which case you aren't allowed to go any where or to speak freely because your views are invalid.

Since ?no one is illegal? we should get a bunch of conservatives and take over the organization. Just keep getting more and more to join until we have the majority, and then vote our people in to power and change the direction of the group. Wonder how they would react to this idea?

What we do is see ourself in our answers to every question. We respond with who we are.

This is illustrated by Mulla Nasrudin who took a parrot which he had never seen and tried to trim it's beak and claws and feathers to make a hawk.

An interesting video in the related list.

Funny how you have some rich kids supporting a bunch of people who don't even care about them, fly a foreign flag at every possible chance, and make assertions regarding stolen land (sounds familiar?).

A very lighthearted and entertaining look at a very serious and disheartening thought. Are we the new native Americans? And will we, through our indifference, apathy, and rampant political correctness, let ourselves suffer the same fate as the native Americans before us? And how long will we let our government continue to turn a deaf ear to our cries before we are forced to more desperate means of getting our message across? Change is in the air.
