Both extremes of a stereotype on display, if you ask me. Of course, being a rider myself, what the the truck driver was doing was willfully endanger the life(s?) of other people using a flying ton of metal as a weapon whereas the riders were just being normal stupid squids.

The cops should show up on the scene, examine the video, and cite the riders for reckless riding and haul the driver's ass off to jail.

Truck driver made a very stupid maneuver but the motorcyclists were driving like douchebags. No reason to make such a deadly move though.

First.... the dude in the truck was 100% wrong to do what he did.

But these guys who want to ride their bikes at 100+ on public roads can eat a dick.

They were in the middle of nowhere and it wasn't the truck drivers job to put them in their place. Call the cops and move on. His rear tire was really close to hitting the dirt on that left side and could easily have been a disaster. Then to proceed to chase him down. Speeding and passing VS. trying to run someone off the road. I hate people. Then again I couldn't tell how fast they were going. Shouldn't be hitting over 100 on a public road.

This, I would never do what he did but I've seen crotch rocket riders do some insane maneuvers/passes that put others in danger besides themselves. If truck dude doesn't like it he can always make the local PD aware of the driving habits some have on this road and hope they set up some radar sites, had he killed that dude might be 1st degree murder charge..

Everyone in that video was stupid. The dude in the truck has major anger issues. And really, what is the other guy calling the cops for?

"Yes officer, my friend was trying to pass this guy on a double yellow at 100mph and he tried to run my friend off the road! Victim victim!!!"

I don't know how fast the bikes were going. I also don't know why the person that took and or posted the video wouldn't follow up with what happened when the cops got there.
I do know that it would have ended differently if he had tried to run me off the road.

I understand. It isn't a matter of one right and one wrong. Both were wrong. But passing and speeding are one thing compared to attempting to run someone off the road.

It's called reckless driving vs assault with a deadly weapon. Are you really that ignorant?

I think the point is that the motorcyclists probably got in some trouble by calling the cops along with the driver of the truck VS being pissed off and not getting a ticket.

Might have been worth it for them though.

This. Would you have shot him when tire iron came out or when he was chasing your buddy down with a deadly weapon after he had already shown intent to kill?

A lot of bikers do ride recklessly. I see it on the highway all the time. Tearing up the 401, weaving in and out of traffic. However, the truck driver took a relatively minor infraction and turned it into what could have been a serious tragedy. If someone startles you like that, blast the horn and shake it off. Too many take it to extremes.

I don't carry. But the chin guard of a full face helmet makes for a convenient handle when swinging at someones face.
Or you can use another persons chin guard to rip them off their ATV and kick their ass.

Obviously, if both parties were armed this would have ended far more peacefully. Right? Right? Bueller?

There's no way they pulled up on him at over 100mph. And why the truck was startled I don't understand either. It took him 8-10 seconds from where the truck driver should have seen him to when he initiated the pass. People just don't check their mirrors often I guess.
