I previously had installed Win2k on my system and didnt like it and being stupid I switched over to NTFS. I formatted and wanted to create 2 seperate partitions on my 13GB harddrve this time, one 3GB and the other 9.

I tried to use an updated FDISK that allows above 2GB partitions, the one that comes on Win98SE startup disk. My system is a ABIT KT7A and the bios says I have a 2GB drive, but the manual says that is correct because of how LBA works. I have all settings to AUTO which used to work before, I also tried all combinations of settings for the drive but would convince FDISK I had over 2GB.

I'm now running Win98SE with a 2GB partition. I've got the latest 4 in 1 drivers, and windows updates and every driver is the newest hoping something might change.

I've formatted the drive multiple times and even did a low level HD format. I'm now running FAT32.

Any suggestions?

the motherboard should tell you the correct size. um, you don't have a software overlay installed, do you?
