I just put 512 more MB of RAM in my box and I have a lot of free ream now, so do you know if getting rid of the page file on the hard drive would speed things up overall? I know other people have discussed this and probably know the answer, but I searched the forums and didnt find a recent discussion about it. Thanks!

It is my understanding that you should have a swap file regardless of your hardware memory size. The best performance would be with a small fixed swap file.
. Just go to the virtual memory settings check the box that allows you to set your own size, then set both max and min to the same size - say 128MB. That will also speed up booting a little as the swap file will no longer be adjusted at boot time.
