If I overclock a system, do I have the option to disable overclocking and set

the speed back to standard in the case of problens ?
 
yup! And it's very easy to do too. If you buy a motherboard that's made for overclocking, the instructions manual will show you everything you need to know. For in depth overclocking know-how, read the various guides online (like on this forum).
