I can't get Quake2 or 3 to intitialise the open gl video setting on my tnt2 ultra. It tells me that it can't find the device, and defaults to software mode. D3D games rock. I have tried all the current drivers for the Guillemot card, as well as updating my BIOS on the chaintech 6btm motherboard. Any ideas? Could this be a hardware problem??

Thanks

Quake2 uses OpenGL for the 3D, I think it uses DirectSound for audio. Since it is a TNT2 you can try installing the detonator drivers, from my experience with TNT cards from Guillemot their drivers are a little behind the times.
