No one told me we lost an OT mod.

moar repost!

oh, its Esquared?

I hope so he a was bias prick.

The only encounter you ever had with esquared was when he gave you just a warning for posting a mod callout in which you straight up LIED about being vacationed for serial threadscrapping in Free Stuff for which you also only got . . . a warning.

Congratulations. Everyone now knows what a stupidly casual LIAR you are.

This here? This is not a warning. :colbert:

Allisolm is now an admin.
so which admin quit??

If Allisolm is an admin, does that mean Alky will be back...and bulletproof? :whiste:

No, No, No!
They are still begging our resident Walter Mitty, "Do you even lift, Bro.?" baller to be the new Super-Duper head moderator.

I'm sure that's HIS story, anyway!
😀

That's the most likely scenario if his mom is now an admin...()🙂

Whew, good thing I tuned down the offers -- I'm too young to die!

Not to mention too cranky. No sane person should give me the power to smite you all!

In for the popcorn.

Same.

I can't believe back in the day there were 70+ Mods.

I also can't believe how many decent people were banned over the years for the silliest shit. Anandtech might be great for tech advice, but in regards to social interaction, it's gone entirely downhill since the admins banned a handful of people for their own mistake in allowing the mod forum to be visible. It's one of the main reasons I frequent other forums now, too. I'd rather not become familiar with people who will be banned for petty stuff, while others will be allowed to stay even though they actively vomit/shit over popular threads.

P.S. Nobody ever justified why it was considered acceptable to ban people for recording information that the admins decided to make visible. Let me know of any other forum/incident that is similar in which a community bans people due to their own mistakes, because that was a first-time experience for me.

It's a combination of nobody caring and then a few people caring too much.
