I'm of the mind that either get top of the line, or don't get one at all... but I'm considering this. It seems a good value. Wonder if I'd use it...

Sounds like you are out of your mind then...😉

The cop's review is for a Zodiac II, this is the original Zodiac.

Personally if I'm going to take a chance on speeding I'd rather have one of the best.
Unless something has changed in a couple of years far as I know Valentine One was the best followed closely by Escort/Bel.

I was up in Kansas driving through one evening. I had my detector on. I was in a Toyota van, so my chances of speeding were pretty nil. The detector sounded. I started looking for the cop. Rounded a sharp curve and there he was! Ticketing some poor slob with his head in the drivers window and his big butt sticking almost a third of the way across the lane. I may have seen him fast enough to miss him without the detector, but did for sure with the detectot. That made me a believer!

Guess its sold out. And after all the research i just put in to determine if this was a hot enough deal. It was by the way.

A decent detector will make a believer out of anyone.

For anyone wondering, passenger vehicle radar detectors are legal in NY, NJ, PA, TX, California, Montana, FL (and lots of other states, I stopped clicking 🙂 )

Get a Valentine One, you'll never look back. Pricey but worth it.

Did anyone actually buy one of these? RadarBuster web site shows the price at $129.95.
I wouldn't bother anyway. If anyone is serious about radar detection, get the BEL RX65. Sure it's $300 but it's software upgradeable and also includes the new KU band that is beginning to find its way into the US from Europe. KU is used for the photo radar.
Escort X50 is also good and on par with Bel and they be becasue they are the same company.

Oops, Hit the TX too soon. Escort and Beltronics are now the same company.

Escort X50 is a good detector but doesn't have KU. That's why I chose the Bel RX65.

Awesome detector!
