Always great to make a generalization based on a conclusion without considering its premises. You could just have easily said:

My friend told me that his wife left him for California as he would beat her terribly when coming home drunk.

I could say that easily, but it would be lying. And I don't need a PC++ that bad.

It's not about being PC; it's about the fallacious derivation of a conclusion without consideration for potential cause.

I dont know that they are that bad...but I sure as hell know that I cant stand not knowing WTF they are thinking...
I had a little moment with a chick from work, we went to lucnh a few times, i asked her out...she had plans but followed up with a "I will definitely talk to you later next week..."

She follows up with "seems like forever since we have spoken.." I think looking good for something now...then next thing you know i go to lucnh and she invites other people and tells me at the last minute...I think i slipped into the friend zone..

I got reall busy at work..ran into her one day, she asks me to go to lunch, that it has been ages since we last got togethor...

My point...I have no clue if this girl likes me a s a friend/co-worker/ or more...as usual they dont come right out and say sh!t about how they feel or are thiking.

Tell your friend that he cant expect any real decent answer or explanation..just deal with it...

Yea... He's alright and everything, and dealing with it. I was more commenting on it as I think it's just fvcked up that people are capable of that... Kinda frightening really.

Very messed up....and I feel for the guy, it sucks when that happens...I got no real explanation from my ex-wife other than "I am not in love with you anymore..." thats the lamest excuse ever..it really is. Of course she emailed me like a week ago to tell me that she is dating an old friend that I know..one she was seeing while we were still married...just as friends though....RIIIIIIIIIIGHT! :)

sounds to me like he married the wrong girl. women, and men for that matter, can only manipulate you as much as you let them. if you put up and accept that kinds of bs, then you have to expect it.

the trick is finding one thats honest that desnt play those stupid games. theyre out there, you just got to weed them out, just like women have to weed out the assholes when it comes to men.
