Now I am pissed. Hollywood is bastardizing one of the best movies I have ever seen. And it is only 2 years old.

The movie I am pissed about is "Let Me In":

"Let The Right One In" is in Sweedish and I had to read the subtitles. I did so and was simply blown away by this movie. There is nothing Hollywood can do to top it. The acting, story, plot development, cinematography were all well done.

Both are based on the book "Let The Right One In".

Just pissed. I know that Hollywood is doing this for a reason, but still .... the previews are pathetic. Hollywood is turning a rich storyline into a dumb F'ing pseudo horror movie.

How do you know it's dumbed down? Have you seen the movie? There have been many movies that were released in other countries and remade here and vice versa. It's not like this is the first time it's happened.

I saw the preview. it's now a shit slasher flick targeting 13 year olds.

Go over to aicn. The buzz over there, at least the last time I looked, was positive on this film. And for the record, I've seen the original. Gotta love Netflix streaming.

Because, like a lot of things, people like to like things because it's cool, and they also like to hate things because it's cool. It's really a personal preference as to which type of person you are.

You do realize that "she" was not a girl right? The "crotch shot" showed a stump where boy parts should have been. Its not well explained in the movie, more implied, but in the book the vampire had "her" junk cut off by the person who made her. So take it easy, what you saw was no-ones actual crotch.

Ehhh Hollywood has been doing this for ages. They remake foreign language films all the time. Most of the time, the remakes are garbage. Sometimes they are well made.
