No New Windows Updates?

I keep going to windows update to see if there is anything for me to get. It does the scan (rather quickly) and then tells me there is no new updates. I havent downloaded a lot of them for security reasons (wmp patch) so i know there should be some still sitting there.

Anyone else have this happen to them?>
 
I got two Windows XP Pro security updates yesterday.

Today I got a Win ME security update on another computer.

MS no longer supports Win95 so if that is what you have you got it all now.

 
I just installed a brand new XP on a friends rigs this weekend. There were all kinds of updates available for it. I also fresh installed a slipstreamed sp1 on one of my spare HDDs yesterday. There were no critical updates but 6 other updates available.
 
The Devil sent me to check before it's too late, 4 security an a few I passed on in the past. Works fine for now.
 
OK, I got it to work. For those still having problems, try this:

Open up Internet Explorer
Click TOOLS
Select INTERNET OPTIONS
Click the LANGUAGES button

If the box is empty, click ADD and select your language and add it.

Click OK, then OK

I got this tip off MS newsgroups and tried it and it worked for me. Weird, huh?
 
Windows Update has always been flaky for me. It's working right now but two weeks ago it would scan my system and say that there were no new updates when I knew there were 3 new critical updates I needed. About four weeks ago it was giving me an error message.
