The main thing to watch out for with "no-name" RAM is that, sometimes, they try to sell you DIMMs that are "high density". NEVER get that stuff. Vendors with ethics will tell you straight-out that such DIMMs have compatability problems, and may not run on anything but certain VIA and SiS chipsets.

On Komplett, it says: "Manufacturer's article number: VS1GBKIT400".

And is the AnandTech forum full of Swedes or what? :)

Edit: I was planning on purchasing my A64 3200+ from Komplett as well, so the shipping fee will be shared between these two components if I do. Seems like an acceptable deal to me.

There, I ordered the A64 3200+ and the Corsair ValueRam 2x512Mb.

My previous computer purchase was in 2001, an AthlonXP 1600+ and a GF2 Pro.
That CPU burned up, so I'm using a laptop now.

I can't wait to play games from 2003 and onwards. :D
