Hello. I have a new Thinkpad notebook and just noticed that in my Add/Remove programs list, at the very top I have an entry titled <no name>. There is no size listed, nor is there an option to remove it when I highlight it. Any ideas? Thanks!!

Probably just a program that uninstalled improperly, leaving a shell of an icon.

Find some tweak program to get rid of it.

Oh, and it can't hurt to run a virus or trojan cleaner just in case.

You may try CCleaner to identify the noname add\remove entry. It may also uninstall it properly and repair the registry

Thanks for the reply. Is there any risk in using the CCleaner program? I'm always hesitant to do things that mess with the registry considering I don't really know what to do if something goes wrong. Thanks :)

run regfix first to make a back of regestery if worried I am sure any good app would do it for you also and/or a restore point if on XP/Vista
