Got a deal I couldn't pass up. I wanted a CTS-V but rally couldn't swallow paying that much on a toy. With the Jeep, resale is just insane so I decided to give one a go. We'll see how well I like it over the long haul.

Nice... Just do not expect tire smoke and hard launches...

When we get done with our move that is one of my directions I'm looking at... (buying a Jeep)

Nice, I'm looking to pull the trigger on a Jeep as well, but for use as an offroader and not daily driver. I'm checkout out a 2003 TJ tomorrow with 60k miles that is fully built up for rock crawling (lifted, 35 tires, lockers, etc). They want 12500 but I've already negotiated down a grand. I'll probably be able to drive it for 5 years and sell it for what I paid if I keep it in good condition and not put on tons of miles.

If you've got the jeep make sure you take it into its natural habitat.

Congrats!

I'm in full tire-kicking mode myself, all over the map. Car-buying choices are like fractals...they just keep splitting into a million more options. So good job on settling on something, enjoy it! :)

Same here, I was all over the place but the Jeep really caught my attention. When I realized how good the resale was, I pulled the trigger thinking if I hate it in a year or two I could flip it and hardly be out anything.

This isn't my daily by any means. I have a 2012 Ram Crew Cab but it's a work truck. It's just a pain to clean it out and put the car seats in every weekend, then take them out and load it back up for work Sunday. (or Monday early AM when I forget Sunday!) I decided I wanted something with room for 4 and I was surprised at how much room the back really has. Plus in the summer with the top off, it will be a load of fun with the kids.
