No more Tiger or Lion Selfies in NY State.

wtf, you need a law for this? 🙄🙄🙄

In New York in February, it becomes illegal to pose for a photo with a lion, tiger or other big cat. The measure, which specifically prohibits contact between members of the public and big cats at animal shows, passed after self-portraits with the animals started becoming more popular online, particularly with some young men on dating sites.
we should start a trend with taking selfies with Dr. Pizza's goats.

What? Is that really a trend? I have a feeling this started from someone being angry over furries, and some lawmaker misinterpreted it. Taking pictures with actual cats? I've not seen this trend. Then again, I don't look at young men on dating sites.

The problem with big government is it acts as a barrier to the laws of natural selection taking their course. Idiot takes selfie with lion, lion mauls idiot, idiot is taken out of the gene pool, everybody wins!

It's pretty damned common. Just check OkCupid or Tinder in NYC.

People use drugged up animals for a lame ass photo-op. I'm glad it's banned.

The animals are drugged. The lion loses.

Supreme example of a stupid law.
If it's not illegal to be near a lion or tiger, my I am not a lawyer shot in the dark: obvious violation of the first amendment. If I had a lion or tiger in my back yard, I'd go pose right now.
