SL, just one word of advice.

Audit as many courses as you can. See how many you can take w/o paying any extra and TAKE them.

Look for a Photo class, or Choir, or Literature or 3D Calculus. Whatever you think you would like, but will not need for your major.

When you get out you start finding out you not only do not have the time to do much of that anymore, but the $$ either.

Oh, and if you want to curb binge-ing, just start drinking the expensive beers/whiskeys/etc. Once I started drinking the "snooty" beers, I found it very difficult to tolerate anything that you would serve in a funnel.

I only like Killians and Amber Boch.
And audit classes cost just as much as regular.

I still don't understand why people are so excited to get out of college. I'd kill to go back to college. No responsibilities, plenty of opportunity for action, living with a bunch of friends.

Out of college, you may have more money from a job, but so much less opportunity for fun.

Umm, I am "back" in college. It sucks. And theres no such thing as "no responsibility" when you pass 18. Its just greater or lesser responsibilities.
And theres no action either. Most people my age around here have families and very little free time. With the free time they do have they prefer to spend it with their families, not single men with no girlfriends or any evidence suggesting they are normal (like me for example).
And without money there isnt much opportunity for fun aside from the cheap ass games I get on Steam. Cant afford ammo to shoot, or gasoline to go camping (costs me about 150 to get to Reddish Knob and back).
Or date money for womens.

I take it you had parents or loans to pay for college? That's not the case for everyone...

Yeah I'm using the GI Bill and my mom helps out when she can, which is rare.
Too old for a loan (I have less potential than the average 18 year old, but I have also realized more potential than most 18 year olds ever will.)
If I had managed to get in at Micron they would have helped with college money.

Only if you are paying ala-carte.

I was able to Audit choir when they did the Requiem one year... I was not even on the roster. I just kept coming to rehearsal! ;)

One of these threads? :/

This term was one of my worst terms academically. A lot of shit happened. Longest term of my fucking life. Everything went wrong. Classes were not hard at all, but life just fucking went apeshit... Wasn't attending class, wasn't reading material, wasn't sleeping, wasn't eating, blahblahblah...

I think I didn't post much at all on AT this term. (Sub 200 posts from what I can tell. Most of them being in bursts)
