Rick Dees has annouced that this morning would be his last show with KIIS. Don't know where he'll go, but he will be missed.

Good, I can't stand morning shows. Why not just play music. When I'm going to work I don't want to hear friggin talk I just want to drive and hear music...

I can't find 1 friggin station without a damn morning show

College Radio to the Rescue :D 89.5 WSOU... they broadcast on the net also.. Best damn radio station for Music (Metal Music anyway :p )

I love Bob and Madison in the morning on G105 in Raleigh, NC. It's fun to listen to the shows and the pranks//games/various stuff they they do all the time. I can listen to music anytime I want (my CDs, music later on in the afternoon on the radio, etc.), but in the mornings I like to be entertained and I want something to make me laugh and get me going in the morning. Bob and Madison do that wonderfully.

Well, even Tom Leykis was talking about it a week ago, did you get a chance to tune in? He's off the KIIS morning show for good, after more than 20 yrs of broadcast. I also listen to Mark and Brian on the 95.5 when I have a chance...

You want music? That's what your CD player is for.. personally, I think morning show is more entertaining than music while driving in to work in the morning. Music will make feel sleepy, but talk show keeps me awake.

Oh, on another note it's about damn time Rick Dees get off the air. The only thing more annoying than morning traffic is Rick Dees.

I cant believe that theres people out there who think Rick Dees is funny. I have nothing against you guys, but I have tried, on several occassions to listen to his "comedy" and it just sucks. It may be that I dont care for his music, it may be that the 3 times I tried to listen to him, he was on an off day or it may be that I am an avid Kevin and Bean listener. Can someone give me an example of something funny that this guy did?

P.S. Poorman was NEVER funny.

Trust me, they were never funny. He might be to the teenie boppers out there, but he straight sucks.

I hate listening to CDs..in fact I almost never use the CD player in my car except in the morning when there's nothing on. For one, I can never find a CD I feel like listening to and I like hearing random songs on the radio I haven't heard in awhile. I have this obssession with flipping through stations till I get to a song I like. Personally I hate morning shows. When I'm driving I don't like listening to people talking. I guess to each his own...I knew talk shows had to be popular because every single frigging station has one. I just didn't know anyone that actually liked them.

Yea, I can't believe it either. I think he tried to get his own TV talk show back in the late 80's or early 90's. He barely made it thru the first show and that's the last I've heard of him on TV. That proved he's NOT funny at all.
