A few months ago i bought an XFX 7900GT Extreme. (the 550Mhz card). Now i want to go for the SLI but they are nowhere to be found. Actually, i can't find any overclocked XFX cards around. What's the deal?

You should not have to have the same exact brand and speed of 7900GT anymore to go with SLI, Just make sure they are both the same GPU.

XFX does have a 520 Mhz version available on newegg though.

but then he'll just get a feeling that he wasted that much cash buying an overclocked version.U can also get an evga card of similar clocks.
Mixed vendor sli is now possible.the evga 7900 gt KO or KO Superclocked would be near that clock speed.

Buy a conductive ink pen and make all their overclocks a little bigger.

And you can just OC it yourself anyway. When you SLI them it'll go down to the lower clock speed but it all likelyhood, you'll be able to run them both at the faster speed.

That's more for a voltage mod, I think he's worried that since he can't find the same exact model as his card, it won't work because of the different clock speeds. As long as the gpu is the same, your fine. just overclock the slower card to match the settings of your current card, or run them at the lower speed of the two.
