I'm 27, and I feel that "Pimp My Ride" and "Wild Boys" are mildly entertaining... however I still maintain that MTV has corrupted the youth of this nation.

If you call yourself "Music Television" you should have Music.

MTV USED to play music videos all day. Then in the late 80s they tried a game show. It was all down hill from there. Now you'd be very lucky to ever see a music video on "Music Television."

I haven't watched anything on MTV in over a decade. And I don't miss it...

If you programmed your receiver to omit channels that you don't receive, you can get screwed if they renumber channels. That happened to me...I went through all the channels and blocked the ones I don't get so that I wouldn't have to scroll through them...and like a week later they renumbered a bunch of channels. I never bothered to do it again.

Relax fellas. Same thing happened to me last week. I called support and they had me reset it and now all the channels are back. Just a glitch.

Actually, its the fact that its a channel called "Music Television" that plays roughly 1 hour of music and 23 hours of Real World reruns per day, that really draws all its hate.

In the last few years, I haven't seen a show on MTV worth watching. I miss Beavis and Butthead, Aeon Flux, and music videos.

Do you remember The Young Ones and 120 Minutes? Those are the shows I miss. Those and rock and roll videos (videos not R&B and rap).

I don't remember The Young Ones, but I didn't have MTV at my house. 120 Minutes was cool.

All of those cool videos back in the 80s and 90s... Ah, well.

I was watching The Young Ones in my junior and senior year of HS, that would be back in 86-88. MTV was great back then, I was hooked from the day they signed on til I went to boot camp. By the time I got out of the Navy it had changed alot, all for the worse I might add. :(
