No more Krispy Kreme in Tucson

Its a sad sad day here in Tucson and across AZ. Krispy Kreme has shut down most of their locations here. No mroe delicious warm sugary morsels at 2am after a ngiht of drinking. No more waking up to a dozen and a cup of coffee. Life just isnt worth living anymore...

Most people act like KK doughnuts are the second coming.

Also: Chain places don't seem to fare as well in Tucson as most other places.

Yep, all closed in Phoenix too. The thing that sucks is people showed up for work, and there was a sign on the door saying they are closed. No one even told the employees. Pretty sh*tty thing to do.

I love fresh doughnuts. i tried KK and was not impressed. there is a local baker that is far better. heck a friend of mine makes better doughnuts then KK (just wish she lived next door to me heh).

I have one of their stores about 3 miles away. The last time I was there I noticed that 90% of the employees were grossly overweight, I was amused That was at least 6 months ago, I have no desire to buy from them any time soon.

Meh. KK donuts are overrated. They were cool when they were novelty in only some isolated locations but once they started putting up multiple stores all across the country, I knew they would go down.

Their lemon filled and glazed are the best of their kind that I've had. The only problem with KK is that they don't sell powdered chocolate creme Drool doughnuts like some local places do.
