I called U-Verse and told them they have a week to resolve it or my business goes elsewhere. Until then I can still find the FN programs I want through alternate means.

My neighbor called and cancelled U-Verse this morning. Pretty much all she watches is Food Network and HDTV, plus she already hated U-Verse anyway.

That blows. If I had U-Verse I'd cancel for the principle if nothing else. I love Food Network and HGTV.

My wife called and bitched...and got a $75 credit to the account...we're still leaving.

The Uverse service has been pretty unsatisfactory for us. HD sucks when compared to Dish and others, tons of "technical issues" that require rebooting either the STB, or the whole system.

Comcast Alchemy. $89/month for 240 channels, 16Mb internet, phone service with unlimited long distance.

Lol, I just signed up for U-Verse. I don't want their TV service though, just their internet. 24mb/6mb for 65 a month. I don't really need channels since I've got the Netflix and Hulu on my TV + media server.
