What happened? Did the dell deals all go away?

Free LCD's, Free Burners, $100 Rebate???

Anyone know if this stuff is coming back or is just not around?

I imagine we'll see plenty of deals in and towards the end of October as that's the end of Dell's next quarter (provided I'm counting right).

You are correct. I also believe that Oct is the end of their Fiscal calendar, so keep your eyes open for some great deals starting about mid-way through Oct.
 
That's right - Dell deals are cyclical, and I'm cynical. They try to make numbers at the end of the month (fair deals), end of their quarter (good deals) and end of their fiscal year (great deals). I'm looking for a 24" monitor for about $700, I hope.
 
I'm holding out for a 2005fpw 20" widescreen for less than $400 shipped. As soon as I see it, I'm jumping...
