No more Activesync?

Hi,

I rebuilt my PC with Vista 64 but it says Activesync is no longer supported.

I installed Windows Mobile Device Center but it doesn't recognize my Dell Axim. It doesn't detect anything actually.

Is there anything I can do to get it to work?

Make sure it has the latest ROM.
Check your firewall settings to make sure WMDC is allowed.

I have an Axim X30 connected to this machine (vista business) right now, working fine.
 
also leave the PDA plugged in and after windows doesn't recognize it, run windows updates as it may find the appropriate drivers for it. That has happened twice to me now

The firewall setting allows WMDC. I think my version of Windows Mobile is too old. I'd like to get all the address and calendar information out of this thing. It's weird that Microsoft doesn't support Activesync anymore and that their new program is incompatible with my Axim.
