No matter what I do, I still get a BSoD error due to nv_disp.dll

I've gotton the message 4 times now, no matter what drivers I roll back to, or just about anything I do. I've tried using some driver cleaners befor installing new Nvidia drivers, but its not helping. Since I built my rig, ive used 84.21 BETA, 84.25 BETA, 84.26 BETA, 84.43 MSI BETA, and rolling back to 84.25 BETA.

First time, While playing Oblivion, 0x0000008E KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
Second time, while playing Sims 2, 0x0000008E KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
Third time, While playing Oblivion, 0x000008E KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
Fourth time, While playing (cant say, bannable), 0x0000050 PAGE_FAULT_IN_UNPAGED_AREA

I also think its the culprit of not being able to get into desktop settings (like resolution, screensaver, wallpaper settings), and why I sometimes upon waking from stand by, get my resolution changed from a custom resolution (1680x1050) to the next higher (1600x1200), and not being able to switch back (unless I restart).

Specs in Signature, I hope I can fix this. Would formatting be the best option? Cause im able to on Tuesday after I backup all my recent data...

Thanks in advance :)

yeah, i've used Driver Cleaner 3 and DH Driver Cleaner Professional Edition (different occasions). I uninstall drivers, use the cleaner, then reboot. After installing new drivers.

Try with swapping your sticks of ram. 1 at a time. Could be bad memory on the BSOD's in the games but yeah that sounds like a driver issue with the display proporties. Try reloading chipset drivers or something? Though a format might be best.

OHH YEA i had the same problem now after looking at your sig. dfi boards are a second tier motherboard company and dont have the resources to make their boards stable with all products on the market (value ram, seasonic psus). what i had to do was get new OCZ platinum DDR400 ram, reset cmos, and reformat hard drive due to corrupt windows, it just gets worst to a point where u can't even boot into windows. if u wanna stick with your kingston ram just RMA the board, its worth the trouble
