No longer able to add tag to other people's thread?

I cannot add tags to other people's thread.yet I see evidence of other users being able to do so.

It will go through the motions, but it doesn't actually save them.

@sdifox , Try this one trick…

After typing in the tag, add a comma so that the tag moves up and the system awaits your next tag. then save.
