No matter what live cd distro i try either i get a blank screen or messed up graphics. Tried Ubuntu, Kubuntu, PClinuxOS.....

Powercolor X800GTO 6.6 NGO drivers, Sony GDM-5411 monitor. BTW i'm running XP native drivers as no drivers were included with my monitor, nor can i find any on the net, could that be the issue?
Thanks.

Look for boot options (in the LiveCD documentation) to pass to the kernel at boot. For example, PCLinux OS has the following options available:
* If the hardware detection has a problem with your video card detection you can try livecd xdrv=vesa, or as a last ditch effort you can try livecd xdrv=fbset.
* The hardware detection tries to guess the optimal resolution for your screen. You can overwrite it with livecd xres=1024x768 xbpp=24. For 1024x768 and 24 bpp (bits per pixel) or 24bit color-depth / truecolor.
