First off, I am using a Samsung NP305E5A-A07US Laptop with Win 7 Home Premium.

I have been using EaseUS Todo Backup for awhile now, and I really like it, because it is so simple to make partition images, and then to restore them.

This morning, however, I went to restore my last good image, from the Boot Disk, but when it brought up the initial screen, I got no response when hitting the Enter Key to select the restor function.

I tried shutting down and booting into windows, then shutting down again, and booting back to the Boot Disk, but still not response from the keyboard in the initial screen.

It seems that possibly my keyboard is not responding when not in Windows, as all works fine there.

Any ideas????

Try plugging in a USB keyboard.

Also, there might be a BIOS setting, that when enabled, fixes the keyboard issue.

Thanks BW,

Good idea about a usb keyboard, and I will give it a try.

Regarding a bios setting, how would it get changed without me going in and changing it?

Thanks again

I apologize for the post, as I forgot that it takes almost a full minite for the program to respond after slecting the restore function.

When I got home tonight I remembered and gave it the time.

Viola, it works fine.
