No Kangaroo Leather in CA anymore?

According to this article, cleats featuring Kangaroo Leather can not be legally sold in the United States. I wonder how many shops know about this? I bought my Master White's which have Kangaroo upper leather from a local store (and I live in CA) and my friend just picked up his Predator Pulse's from a different store.

WTF? How can they be serious?
