Oh it's for average emissions standards! I was getting worried there for a minute! Maybe it'll be automatically included with every Aston Martin purchase just to keep the average emissions / fuel economy at the government required level.

I can just see it a decade from now... "Yes you can buy a V12 Vanquish, but you have to purchase four of these rebadged 3-cylinder toyotas to keep our average fuel economy high enough that the government doesn't put us out of business."

That reminds me of Transformers years ago that used to give you a free mini transformer if you bought one of the larger toys. Only the Cygnet doesn't transform, so clearly it is inferior.
