It looks like a major major update to the specialized penetration testing distro from Offensive Security. Backtrack's latest releases were based on ubuntu but the new one is built from Debian.

I'll be trying it out on a 2012 Macbook Pro, hopefully it can detect my wifi and usb ports, unlike backtrack 5.

They have a light .iso now. I want to try that, and see if I can make a smaller iso. The regular .iso is huge.
