No internet with wireless connection

Hey all,

I am having a problem I hope someone can help me with. I connect to my home network using my laptop's wireless connection. i went out of the country for work, used my laptop no problems, but now that I am back home, I can not connect to the internet...the wirless is connectiong to the network, but I cant get onto the internet. Its not the internet thopugh, I can get it if I hard wire it.

Any ideas?

When you are connected via wireless, can you ping anything on the internet? Go to command prompt and try to ping something. Many places like cnn.com etc won't reply try pinging nxs.net.

Yes? Do you use Internet Explorer? 1st thing I would suggest would be to go to Internet options, connections tab, click the setup button at the top.

Choose options to have browser connect via LAN connection. The steps would be;
Next
Connect to Internet, next
Set up my connection manually, next
connect via broadband that is always on
