Helo.

I was wondering if there is any other way of diagnosing a PCI-E slot?

I have had the above mentioned components in my little sugo 03 for a while, and recently replaced the bios battery. Afterwards, it successfully saved the BIOS settings even after the power cord had been pulled, but the graphics card didn't give a signal anymore. (DVI -> DVI>VGA adapter -> VGA input on monitor). Have tried
Making sure the BIOS attempts to initialize the PCI-E slot first for graphics - no difference
The other DVI out port on the HD3870- no difference
Different adapter - no difference
Different graphics card (x1300) - works
HD3870 in different machine - works
Reset BIOS (again) - no difference
Unplug PCIE- 6 pin power cord - no difference (no visual warning ala "PLUG IN PCI-E POWER CORD!!!!!" in red)
(FLash BIOS to a newer version & install a Phenom ii - no difference)
