No, Im not putting bows on my gifts!

And if you dont like it, you can gtfo.

Shopping, buying, wrapping & labling are hassle enough. Now you want a damn bow too?

I want some ribbons too with the damn bow, tyvm

I agree, having the bows on gifts makes them harder to stack. But hell, you can get a humungous bag of bows for 99 cents. Just wait til all the gifts are under the tree & start slapping bows all over everything.

Do you mean the stick on star/bow/ribbon things, or actually tying a bow around the whole thing?

I use the first extensively as to "dress up a gift" (and by that I mean stick it on a bottle of wine and call it a day). I've never tied a bow around any gift ever, unless the box already had one built on it.

I don't even put name tags on mine. I put the persons first initial in black magic marker on the wrapping paper.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you are just too lazy and cheap to buy a bag of 25 bows for 2 bucks at dollar general and peel the sticker off the bottom and slap that bad boy on the already lame Christmas sweater you are giving, that you received 2 Christmas ago; embarrassed to wear it and hoping enough time has passed that no one will remember so you re-gifted it.

🙂

My wife (girlfriend at the time) laughed at me our first Christmas together when I handed her a gift-wrapped package with your run-of-the-mill stick on bow. She and her family all hand-make their bows out of fancy ribbon to make the gift pretty. I looked at her and said "Excuse me, I'm a straight man and couldn't care less about making a fancy bow." She still complains about my bows to this day.

The perfect response to that would be to make up a bunch of hand made bows and wrap them up in a box with a run-of-the-mill stick on bow on top.
